This versatile headlamp has a single lens and a single switch, and is intended for the user who does not need bells or whistles and only wants a simple head lamp. The Astro 300 features a compact body that is ergonomic with a low profile for better balance.

The highly weather resistant IPX4 housing withstands rain and sleet from any angle. Duel power means that it comes with three AAA batteries, but is also compatible with the Black Diamond BD 1500 lithium-ion rechargeable battery (sold separately).
