Ideal for elevators and other small applications such as hospitality, retail and aircraft. Shatter resistant for reduced risk of injury and breakage No lead or mercury means easy and environmentally safe disposal Saves 17 watts compared to a 20 watt halogen Very long life - Rated to still put out 70% as much light after 20,000 hours of operation as it did when brand new Do not use in fully enclosed fixtures because heat build up will shorten life. Do not "hot swap" this bulb. Turn off fixture before replacing the existing bulb.
