As a gift Well just get that its adorable out of the way: its adorable! Functionally it has its own internal battery and you can use it while its charging if need be. There are three levels of brightness, its highest level of brightness is around the medium level for my other panda night lights but its still fine for a night light.

On the bottom is a switch that allows you to turn it off, on, or set it to turn off automatically after 30 minutes. it will fit in well with my menagerie of pandas. Its a great gift for holidays and birthdays.
