Sure there have to be some trade-offs with size, but weve made up for it to give you a smaller, more convenient yet same quality UV:

• Low contamination UV 385-395nm (optical output at around 650mW 385-395nm)
• Same UV LED as the larger V3 385-395nm(3) More convenient USB-C charging on board. USB-C cable supplied(4) US mains adapter supplied for optional mains power source(5) Power delivery (supplied) to give the MINI the juice it needs for long working timesWHY settle for weak 390nm UVThe problem with most 390nm UV flashlights youll find is a beam that disappoints. Useless in normal light, and poor results in the dark. Most models are dogged with too much visible light contamination - straying way too much into the visible spectrum. Weve simply designed that out. Sayonara. With little visible light leak yet powerful enough, you can use it during the day in normal light. And in the dark its effective to 20-30 feet awayAN effective pocket-sized PACKAGEIts pocket-sized but made of aerospace-grade aluminum, so it wont fall apart, and you can toss this around without much worry. Its been field tested by picky people, so youll be getting something thats proven instead of an unknown could-be-a-dud piece of kitOverall, we believe this is an impressive contender for those looking for small size, convenience, but UV 385-395nm which does not disappoint
